We pride ourselves on our home-cooked food which is freshly prepared on our premises every day. Nina, Glen and Kath who make up our catering team are a key part of the Redhill team. They offer so much more than meal provision and supervise on the yard at break times and run Holiday Club. They actively enhance the children’s experience. By getting to know every child as an individual they are best placed to encourage them to make good food choices from what is on offer. Equally, they ensure kindness permeates every facet of provision.

Whenever possible, we source produce from quality local suppliers within the region. We are keen to promote healthy eating and our menu is carefully balanced to make it both tasty and nutritious. We operate a 2- or 3-week menu which children eagerly await being announced. They love seeing if one of their favourite dishes has made it on. Pupils always have an alternative, which is rotated and emailed to parents each term.

Redhill was the first independent school in Wales to be awarded the prestigious Network of Healthy School Schemes, Healthy Schools Award. We have been awarded a Food Hygiene Rating of 5/5 by the Food Standards Agency.
