Typically, we have a wide variety of activities from Reception right through to Year 6. This could be an early morning activity such as Cross-Country Club or a seam of enrichment embedded into the academic timetable, e.g. Politics Week. It may also be an activity such as CUBS Rugby which is run on a weekly basis within the daily timetable. There are also after-school clubs like Expressive Arts, Football, Content Creation and many more. Investment in the creation of our ‘Redhill Labs’ has opened a multitude of new avenues in the expressive arts, gaming and much more.

All children engage in a diverse range of trips and we form partnerships with local organisations that help bring the curriculum to life. Our youngest children enjoy regular visits to Slebech Gardens as part of their commitment to community engagement. We also maintain strong connections to the agricultural community in Pembrokeshire with many of our parents working in the industry. Therefore, we regularly visit local farms and receive visits from experts, from Hydrogen-powered cars to kelp eating cattle, we aim to enliven everyone’s experience.

Our sports and expressive arts coordinators arrange a wide variety of opportunities for all age groups. This may be a trip to the theatre, a competitive fixture against a local school or a weekly visit to a local gym to receive coaching from a professional gymnastics coach. Once again, we are committed to forming strong partnerships with professional bodies and local organisations. One of our closest relationships is with Vision Arts – where our Expressive Arts coordinator Drew Baker is the creative director. Drew and his team of industry experts play a strong part in our extra-curricular programme.

We truly offer something for everyone and encourage all our children to take part in at least one activity, to enhance their experience and love of learning as well as develop new passions, talents and friendships.
